Our Location

The School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences is located at St Lucia campus, renowned as one of Australia most attractive campuses.

The campus has expansive landscaped grounds and is most famous for its magnificent Great Court, stunning sandstone buildings, parklands and lakes. Its hub is a semi-circle of cloistered buildings enclosing the National Trust-listed Great Court. If you love sport then you will be spoilt for choice at the St Lucia campus. Our school is exceptionally well-situated in the UQ Sport precinct which includes the Aquatic Centre, Athletics Centre, Sport & Fitness Centre and Tennis Centre. There are also sporting fields for rugby, soccer, hockey, cricket, and softball. The School itself has an indoor basketball court, and gymnasium. All in one location, they provide unmatched opportunities for your fitness and lifestyle goals.

There is also an enormous range of other things to do around the St Lucia campus. There are over 150 clubs and societies to join, concerts, ceremonies and public lectures to attend, libraries and museums, research and art collections to visit, places to worship and numerous sporting activities to join.

The campus is located just seven kilometres from the heart of Brisbane City on a magnificent 114-hectare site in a bend of the Brisbane River and is easily accessible by car, ferry, bus, train or bicycle.
