International Students and Studying Abroad
Applying for Admission
Entry to all Human Movement Studies programs is handled via UQ's International Education Directorate rather than via the School of Human Movement Studies. The International Education Directorate website will answer most of your questions.
To apply for International Student Admission to The University of Queensland, please send an introductory email to the International Education Directorate at study@uq.edu.au.
In your email, include your postal address and telephone number and request that an application form be sent to you. Please note that the act of sending an email does not in itself constitute making an application- your email simply requests that our International Admissions Section sends you an application form.
Direct all questions regarding admission, tuition fees, visas, accommodation, bank accounts, medical insurance, rules on part time work and similar issues for International Students, to the same email address.
If you wish to determine whether your current qualifications are sufficient for entry to The University of Queensland, it is necessary to formally apply for admission. A fee is involved. All details are available from the above mentioned web site or email address.
Study Abroad at HMS
Students wishing to be admitted to UQ's Study Abroad Program should read the HMS Study Abroad brochure and visit the UQ Study Abroad website.
